Arts and crafts booths set up throughout the Village offer hand-dyed textiles, handmade jewelry, metal work and natural beauty products, while church groups, community-service groups, animal-rescue and political groups distribute information and raise funds, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27; free admission. The American Legion Madera Post 131 hosts an Oktoberfest Barbecue and Beer Garden; the Optimist Club operates a sausage wagon, and other food options include Sonoran hot dogs and kettle corn. Free entertainment, a white-elephant sale, a parade and a fashion show also are featured.
