Confluencecenter Solar Soirée
A diverse dialogue about solar power, art and cuisine takes place in a xeriscaped garden at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20; free with reservations. Paula Fan leads a trio that includes a solar-powered electric piano; Roger Angel of the Steward Observatory discusses advanced research about astronomical mirrors; and Javier Duran and special guests discuss and serve trans-border cuisine.
