College
Following in the wake of Superbad’s super success, this collection of hazing, hijinks, bullying and binge drinking is just super bad. The overweight jerk (Andrew Caldwell), the sensitive soul (Drake Bell) and the McLovin rip-off (American Idol alum Kevin Covais) head off to college. There, the three become pledges at a fraternity house where callous frat boys thrive on humiliating and emasculating innocent pledges through abuse and homophobic cruelties. College is supposed to be a comedy, but there is nothing funny about this film—which was surprisingly directed by a woman, rookie Deb Hagan.
