Moonlight Madness Tour at the Titan Missile Museum

While it might be tempting to say that summer is over considering the kids are in school and all, in reality, it's still humid and hot, and we sometimes still dream of going underground just to escape the heat. The Titan Missile Museum makes that dream a reality. Go there, take in the Cold War history and enjoy the cool during the Moonlight Madness Tour on Saturday, Sept. 13. There will be activities for the kids and a presentation by the museum's MAD scientists with the launching of seltzer rockets and the luminous experience of eating space food. This happens from 5 to 9 p.m. with the last tour at 8 p.m. And let our own experience remind you to make reservations. They are required. Call 625-7736. Members and children 12 and younger are free, and adult tickets are $7. For more info, visit titanmissilemuseum.org.
