Casper Allen & The Naturals are a classic pop, Americana and R&B trio that released its debut single “Damn Old Sun” earlier this year. Alongside the band will be Phoenix-based alternative Western musician Katie Mae and country singer Shawn Hess.

Dire Straits’ ‘Brothers in Arms’

The musical tribute group Classic Albums Live will do a note-for-note performance of the album “Brothers in Arms” from the pop-rock band Dire Straits. Dire Straits rose to fame with songs like “Money for Nothing,” which received heavy rotation on MTV.

Old Tucson Historical Tour

Learn about Old Tucson’s movie productions and the complex history of how people in the Old West lived with the “Western Experience” exhibit. Historians will guide visitors through these 60-minute informational tours.

‘Butterfly Magic’

The Tucson Botanical Gardens features a large butterfly exhibit with 30 to 50 species on any given day. These butterflies come from Costa Rica, South America, Southeast Asia and Africa. Expect to see hundreds of butterflies fluttering around tropical orchid plants not typically seen in the Southwest.

Freddy’s Last Saturday Car Show

Hosted at Freddy’s Steakburgers, this monthly car show is the chance for people to show off and compete with their cars. Judges will decide which car is the best and hand out 24 awards, with some of the categories being “Best Street Rod,” “Best Work in Progress” and “Best Specialty.”

TMC Meet Me Downtown 

5K Night Run/Walk

This community 5K run and walk will feature a vendor expo, performances from dance maven Gigi and The Glow and Starlight Deejays, food trucks, child-friendly activities, the Pueblo Vida Beer Garden and free entry into the Children’s Museum until 6 p.m. for parents and children.

Perfume Genius “Glory Tour”

Art pop and indie rock musician Michael Alden Hadreas, known by his stage name Perfume Genius, is coming to 191 Toole as part of his “Glory Tour.” Perfume Genius songs are often emotionally vulnerable and heartbreaking, coming from a personal place. The Grammy-nominated musician is known for songs like “Jason,” “Whole Life” and “On The Floor.”

Pat Travers Band

JUNE 1

Pat Travers is a guitarist and singer who started in the ’70s. His band covers the blues and hard rock genres, and his latest released song is “The Art of Time Travel.” Some of Travers’ popular tunes include “Boom Boom,” “Rock ’N’ Roll Susie” and “I La La La Love You.”.

Dog Days of Summer
