Looking for a free family event for the holidays? Tucson's Parade of Lights and the Mayor's tree lighting ceremony in Armory Park is Saturday, Dec. 19. Come cheer on kids from the John Valenzuela Youth Center who have created routines that have won a handful of awards the last decade. Bring some hot chocolate, make a float and waltz through the shimmering downtown lights in this community event. For more info, go to www.downtowntucson.org/visit/parade-of-lights.
