Rep McSally proves very tough to interact with. Voicemail boxes locally and in DC full, one is left with email, but that's only through her web site, using the "Contact" form. If you have the patience to wade through multiple levels of security to post your question? The result of my attempts to comment and ask questions about legislation?. I am entered on her electronic mailing list, which yields regular emails telling me what a wonderful job she's doing on every front.
At least it seems non-partisan. She's ignoring Republican, Independent and Democrat constituents equally.
She's apparently intent on building an "Anyone but McSally" coalition in 2018!
Ever try to get through on Rep, McSally's office line? Shunted to voicemail, then learn that her VM box is full. Email? You have to use a lengthy form, then go through the "I am not a robot" dance, with a further level of multi-level security.
This is NOT a congresswoman the least bit interested in what her constituents have to say, just wants to isolate herself from the folks who elected her and pay her salary. Period.
My bet is no one within the city limits of Tucson will ever see her hold a town hall. Elderly (like me) with mobility issues, or don't drive? Forget it.
She is not alone, however. You'll have a very similar experience trying to get through to either Senator Flake or McCain. Voicemail boxes full, and no way to send an email easily. Town halls by either any time soon? 'Tis to laugh.
Mmmmm...Butterscotch Krimpets! It's a Philly thing!
