Celebrating the Sonoran Desert Tri-National Symposium 

When: March 19-23 2012
Environmental experts from Mexico, the U.S. and the Tohono O'odham Nation gather to discuss the future of plant, animal and aquatic life, as well as hydrology and geology, given projected climatic changes and population growth, from Monday, March 19, through Friday, March 23; $125. Activities include field trips to Organ Pipe National Monument, the Tohono O'odham Cultural Center and Museum, the Sonoran Pronghorn Captive Breeding Pen in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, the Pina Cate Biosphere Reserve and Painted Rock Campground.
