Re: “Fighting for Mom

"Aging"? She's only 65, you nit wit. My father is in his early 60's, lives alone in a rural, semi-isolated area & manages just fine. Should we ship all ppl. over 55 to nursing homes for their, & our poor, helpless law enforcement officers, safety? We don't want any little old ladies hurting them, after all. The fact remains that she didn't fire at an officer, something even the officer stated. Why is she being treated like she is a violent criminal? She is receiving a harsher punishment than some rapists, pedophiles, child abusers & ppl. who commit vehicular homicide. Ridiculous!

Re: “If This News Is True, The Wrong Person Survived

What a stupid headline. Better that these poor children should've survived and grown up with the shame and stigma of knowing that their own mother tried to murder them then successfully killed herself, wondering if it was somehow their "fault" as children in these situation often do? Living the rest of their lives with all these painful, unanswered questions? If this news is true, I think the exact "right" person survived, the one who will have to live every day for the rest of her life knowing that she killed her own children and that she is a complete failure not only as a mother, but as a human being, and the only one who deserves to suffer.

Re: “Danehy

Listen, I don't care what the circumstances are; temperature, cup/lid size, ect., ect., if you open a HOT cup of coffee on your lap, in a car, in a fast food drive-thru lane, you're a f*cking moron. No one knows the exact temperature of the coffee they're drinking at any given moment, whether they brewed it themselves or purchased it somewhere else, but we all know it's....wait for it.......HOT, so that argument is irrelevant. It's called common sense. The same goes for the 15 items or less lane in the grocery store. If you're just running in to grab milk, bread, eggs, condoms, lube & some Pepcid AC, the 15 & under lane is for you. If you're doing you're weekly food stamp/WIC haul, the 15 & under lane is not for you. Simple. If you have 15 items & decide to grab some Tic Tacs at the registers, no one is going to make a fuss, but if you obviously have 20+ things in your cart, you should be drawn & quartered at dawn, make that skinned alive then burned at the stake if you're one of those GD obnoxious "couponers" & proceed to write a check....
