I don't know if you can read this to whoever is able to attend Mr. Greer's get together. I am so thankful to what he did for my, including Mr. Carson, prof. Mitchel and all the professors i had before graduation (1997). They always did the extra mile for their students, they work hard finding jobs, interships, interviews and other amenities for their students. I just finished my MBA at the University of Phoenix (sorry) and i tell the faculty over there how the Journalism faculty were so good at ''pushing'' their students and made them move their ''lazy behinds'', that was my generation and Mr. Greer, Mr. Carson all those excellent professors were so good at making us believe and work hard. Mr. Greer become my good friend and i am very sorry for his lost. He and the other teachers treated all of their students with respect and dignity regarless of their origin or background. Right now i am doing el Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile walk from the south west of france to the west coast of spain. I won't be able to attend at Shanty's but i promise you that Profesor Greer will be on my side and my sight all the time. I will miss his sharp sense of humor, his laughing. Please share a sincere tear with me for the lost of this excellent and hard dedicated profesor, friend, alma matter, lovely father and tremendous party organizer. Well done ''bill'' i am sure you will be better off where you are now, there where you can be free to walk, to talk, to travel, to wonder. This time you will see the real ''light'' like you used to tell us about ''the light'' in photography. i hope to see you there when my turn is up. Thanks again. You did it man!
