THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF THE FIRE AT JOEL D. VALDEZ LIBRARY ON FRIDAY, JAN. 17. Jane Prescott-Smith, managing director of the National Institute for Civil Discourse, discusses the progress made toward civility, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 18. The league also will be reconsidering its positions on local and national issues for the new year.
