When: Mon., May 18, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. & 6-7 p.m. 2015

Therapy dogs can visit in hospitals, assisted-living facilities, hospice, with at-risk children, in schools and libraries, etc. This session will help people assess if their dog can be a candidate to become a therapy dog, what training is involved, how their visits impact the people they meet, and more.
