Ah, the old red tape parade. No wonder most people can't stand environmentalists.
Running on higher taxes and more welfare plus dollars for schools with no plan for how that improves education and no plan to curb illegal immigration.
This is probably not a winning platform in Arizona.
As a less-than-wealthy parent who, nevertheless, would like to send my kids to decent schools, please accept my thanks for making me aware of this program.
Yeah, Grijalva's doing it for the environment. Ha, ha, ha. That's a good one.
How come the existing hundreds of miles of border wall didn't "divide and destroy the incredible communities and wild landscapes along the border" Mr. Suckling?
Massive development due to growth from illegal immigration does far more to destroy the environment than some little wall in the desert.
This isn't about the environment.
The election is over, BS talking points can be shelved for another 4 years.
"students at BASIS aren't representative of Arizona's population" - you mean it's not 50% children of illegal immigrants?
If we could take the money spent educating illegal immigrants and the children of illegal immigrants and all the associated extra cost of ESL, etc. we would have plenty of money to educate our children.
As your average taxpayer why would I ever vote to spend my hard-earned tax money on education when I know half of it goes to pay for educating illegals who have 3, 4 or 5 kids in the system to my 2?
