Break the Silence
The Eon youth center partners with the Trojan Gay/Straight Alliance for a National Day of Silence event to bring attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools and communities at 4 p.m., Friday, April 16. A screening of Prayers for Bobby will also be featured and will be followed by a youth-led panel that will share experiences related to acceptance, family, religion, coming out and more. $2, or free with a Day of Silence bracelet.
