Comedy, Horror
This is sort of a cross between The Birds and Night of the Lepus, only with fluffy, lovable, genetically engineered, mutant vampire sheep. Unable to choose between comedy and horror, Black Sheep goes for a sort of nicely photographed boredom, as wooly monsters lifelessly tear out the throats of evil scientists and businessmen. Also, why are scientists always evil in movies? I know a lot of scientists, and none of them sit around all day devising new ways to conquer the planet, enslave humanity or turn sheep into bloodthirsty monsters. Can’t scientists get some love? I mean, it’s bad enough being nerdy and stuck in a lab full of beakers.
