This is not your grandfather's liquor store. OK, maybe part of it is, because that's one of the attractions of Plaza. On the outside, it looks like the locally owned neighborhood liquor store where Tucson's Archie Bunker may have patronized. But inside it is so much more—refrigerator cases filled with beers from every corner of beer-brewing goodness, one of the best selectihdfons of wine in the city and a great selection of tequilas and mezcals. There's always a good special; in fact, ask the cashier if there's something in particular you are looking for and exactly what's on sale—on occasion, a bottle of Hornitos is priced just right. Service here is friendly and knowledgeable, making you feel this is indeed a special place after all, because your grandfather and Archie knew exactly where to go.
