CataVinos

Since this little wine shop's inception about three years ago, CataVinos has slowly but surely developed a legion of loyal fans. Thanks to amazing prices ("hundreds under $15," to quote the website); an unfussy, laid-back vibe; and owner Yvonne Foucher's passion for good wine, CataVinos is a great place to enjoy one's self. Nightly tastings are themed in some way. Every other Wednesday usually features white wines, for example, although Foucher does get creative with other wines ("Wines as Art," Nothing but Blends," "BBQ Wines," etc.). The tastings usually run around $8 to $10 with a wine purchase. Foucher is also a fan of local artists and charities, and the space provides a great venue for both.
