Lisa Cardenas, the founder and owner of Haunted Hands, left a career in illustration and animation to become a tattoo artist in 2008. Her biggest priority when designing tattoos is to make sure they're complementing the body they live on—and it shows. From dragon-covered chests and cactus-covered arms to lizard-covered legs and bird-covered backs, Cardenas gives the kind of tattoos that look like they belonged there all along.
