Who doesn't love the sandwiches at Beyond Bread? There is no other place in town where meat, vegetables and zesty spreads pressed between two pieces of bread taste so good. For more than a decade now, Tucson residents have been enjoying delicious sandwiches such as Pauly's pesto: chicken, provolone, basil pesto, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and Italian dressing thrown on a garlic Italian roll. There are plenty of cold-sandwich choices as well, such as Avi's avo: turkey, avocado, cucumber, sprouts and mayonnaise on ciabatta. Delicious. There really is no more creatively delicious sandwich shop in town—and a third location is slated to open soon on the northwest side.
