The fact that Maynards Market and Kitchen is located in the railroad station is romantic enough. But at night—with the warm glow of tableside lighting, the slight murmur from other diners and the occasional train that chugs by outside—Maynards becomes something more. This could be the place to ask someone to marry you, or perhaps rekindle an old flame, or just really impress that new guy or gal in your life. The menu only complements the mood (mussels are done in a number of ways), and the wine list is both friendly and priced right. The place is small, so tables can be at a premium.
