Chalk one up for public education! While the charter school revolution and private school tax credits in Arizona have allowed students to flee public education for greener-on-the-other-side establishments, University High is still there on the campus it shares in midtown with Rincon, turning out the best and brightest of our city's teenagers. At very least, it's nice to see Tucson show up in the nation's newspapers and magazines in a positive light when inevitably UHS turns up on whatever "best high school" list came out this week. Go Penguins!
