Best Playground

Gene C. Reid Park

The best thing about the playgrounds at Reid Park is that they are just the tip of the iceberg. There are celebrations in the many rentable armadas; the manmade lake teems with ducks and geese; the dog park provides space for four-legged family members to let loose; and there are wide open spaces to enjoy. A new path around the park's periphery provides a safe place for biking, rollerblading, walking/running, etc. The park's central location makes Reid Park a convenient place for relaxation, fun and physical activity for kids and adults alike.
