The Rialto Theatre remains the anchor of live music in Tucson, bringing cutting-edge indie bands, classic rockers and everything in-between to town. To add to the fun, a new mascot, the red, bespectled dinosaur named Rialtor has been hatched just this year to join the hard-working staff that makes those shows go off with nary a hitch. And the new R Bar next door is a cozy den of glowing red comfort that serves up a drink named in Rialtor's honor that has the kick of a Moscow mule and a twist of cardamom to give it a hint of international flavor.
