So your friends stopped inviting you to the bar, because they're tired of hearing about the evils of George W. Bush every time you get a little liquor in you. Luckily, there's Drinking Liberally, a national organization of liberals who talk politics and drink in bars across the country. The Tucson chapter holds the weekly meeting for left-leaning politicians and political junkies every Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Shanty. Be prepared to see your favorite politicians and candidates loosening their tongues and ties, and jabbering about the GOP. Republicans are welcome, too.
