Best Northwest-Side Restaurant

Wildflower

Wildflower first opened over 15 years ago as the original Sam Fox concept aiming to provide diners on the Northwest side a fresh take on American cuisine. These days, the spot manages to still be innovative, yet comforting under the leadership of Omar Huerta, who undertook an extensive remake of the menu earlier this year. And while the entrées are excellent (may we suggest the short rib ravoli?), the desserts are among the best in town. Overall, in a part of town where finding a non-chain place to dine can sometimes be a challenge, Wildflower is a culinary asset to the community.
