Best New Restaurant by an Old Favorite

Guiseppe's Ristorante Italiano

Joe Scordato is in the kitchen again, and, boy, are we happy about that! From the savory stuffed mushrooms to the sweet dolce de Patricia, the food at Guiseppe's is just plain wonderful! Thumbs-up to the braciole, that hearty rolled-beef dish served over linguini; and the eggplant parmesan deserves a Best of Tucson® pick of its own. We also love the parmesan potatoes. Twice-cooked and seasoned perfectly, they bring back wonderful memories of long-ago family dinners. Joe makes his own sausage and some of the pastas (try the stuffed manicotti). Prices are beyond reasonable, even down to the wine list. Because the room is small, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
