Best Local Web Site

Readers Pick

Whatever one may think of the Arizona Star as a daily newspaper, the other side of their news empire has been upgraded to particularly epic proportions. Azstarnet.com, much like tucsonweekly.com, recently went through design changes that make it more graphically pleasing and easier to use. It also gives Web surfers more options and special "issues" to click on. Ongoing special sections with past archived articles bundled include "Border News," "Middle East," "Wildfires," "Education" and "America at War." It's nice to log on anytime of day to catch "breaking news" not found in the print addition, and clicking on "All Headlines" lets busy Tucsonans scan the entire paper in about 60 seconds.
