We were talking to a mom the other day who told us that our kindergarteners had cooked up quite an elaborate scheme to sneak out in the middle of the night and travel to the Valley of the Moon. The plan involved bringing flashlights and enough applesauce so they wouldn't go hungry. They were aware that there was an element of danger in the form of coyotes but were willing to risk it, all so that when they arrived, they could become fairy princesses. There aren't many places in town that will spark that kind of imagination, but the Valley of the Moon—with its tunnels and castles and secret passageways— is indeed one of them. Don't miss the Halloween show now underway and be sure to experience its whimsey as often as possible. There's real magic in this place.
