While several new chefs in town are stepping up to make a name for Tucson in the culinary scene, you'd be crazy not to recognize the city's original celebrity chef: Janos Wilder. His work in defining Sonoran and Southwestern food is inspirational, which is why he was recognized as the region's best chef in 2000 by the James Beard Foundation.
