What could be better than belting out your favorite tunes, while having a few of your favorite booze-dispensing bartenders deciding your fate on-stage? Well, that's exactly what Thursday nights at Fourth Ave.'s renowned Mr. Heads have to offer, with their classic "Cut-Throat Karaoke," which allows bartenders to hit a gong located above the bar if they want a particular song to stop. This option shouldn't scare off prospective singers, however, as it is rarely used these days (unlike in the past, when those who survived the gong gauntlet received a dollar off their next drink of choice). Mr. Heads is a great spot for singers talented and untalented alike, because nothing cures the blues quite like ... well, singing the blues.
