Choirs, Choruses and Chorales

Beyond the theaters, orchestras and the galleries, the arts scene in Tucson includes a plethora of choral groups, each with their own unique signature, celebrating the powerful harmony of human voices. The 50-member Arizona Repertory Singers perhaps tops the list. Folks are downright giddy for a chance to catch their holiday concerts at the Benedictine Monastery. Then there's Tucson Masterworks Chorale, another top-notch group. Sons of Orpheus—The Male Choir of Tucson has toured Europe and the U.K, and their holiday concert at San Xavier del Bac is a tough ticket to track down. Desert Voices is an inclusive GLBT chorus, and Reveille Gay Men's Chorus performed with the Tucson Symphony last year. And we're just getting started. These are our friends, co-workers and neighbors and they help create a soundtrack for our lives. Listen. Hear it?
