Saffron Indian Bistro

Any restaurant where a large statue of the elephant-headed deity Ganesh welcomes guests must have something going for it. Saffron's modern décor includes a full-service cocktail bar, and the menu's offerings range from vegetables bahar served with basmati rice to tandoori items, including chicken, fish and lamb. The fish tikka masala is especially mouth-watering: Pacific mahi-mahi is cooked in a tasty, creamy sauce, and—like the other selections on the menu—can be served mild, medium or spicy. While saffron is an extremely expensive spice, Saffron Indian Bistro offers meals at reasonable prices.
