Tucsonans obviously like their coffee dark. The house blend at Raging Sage—two parts French roast and one part Vienna—is roasty without being burnt or acidic, making for an extremely drinkable cup. It's actually very light, despite its darker origins, and has a slight sweet-tea note that transfers from the nose to the palate. It sweetens as it cools, which would make for some great iced coffee. It's the kind of coffee that would pair well with any pastry Raging Sage offers. Which is kind of the point, right? Sip it outside on the patio or take it home in one of their 12-ounce bags.
