The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will dazzle at just about age. The kids can go on safari, dig for fossils, crawl through a packrat playhouse or pet a stingray. And if they really dig it, they can become real desert rats by joining the Coati Club to learn all about the many critters that crawl, run, fly, slither, bite and sting here in the Sonoran Desert. On summer Saturdays, the museum stays open late so you can find out what comes out the play after the sun has set. A trip that's both fun and educational? We're in.
