Staff Pick: For those who grew up in the Midwest, which seems to be half of Tucson, this is a real treat. At the Lilliputian price of $3.95 you get fried fish, French fries and coleslaw served in a plastic basket, and it's all-you-can-eat. So go hungry and go early, because there is usually a line out front and people are sometimes seen eating on the pool table. If you add an extra dollar, you can get shrimp with your meal. But for those with an aversion to smoke, be warned: The Elbow Room is a bar with only about a dozen tables, and smoking is definitely allowed. But don't let that bother you. Because like the horse in Troy, this is the place to be on a Friday night.
