Look up the word "gregarious," and you're likely to see a picture of Martin. Although he is the principal cook, he manages to spend as much time on our side of the counter as he does in the back. That's because he provides the kind of service that harkens back to a time when connecting with the public, one customer at a time, was the best way to build a business. Of course, this may be off-putting to some, but when Martin pulls up a sidewalk chair next to you out front, or wants to know how much you're enjoying the excellent food, humor him. You'll eat better for it.
