This winner is not really much of a Secret Garden, just a little hard to find. Located where Allen Road dead-ends into the Rillito (east of the river, west of Dodge Road, off River Road), this nursery has a loyal following of home gardeners. The outdoor plants are hardy and usually priced well below the bigger gardening centers. The houseplants can be found in a huge greenhouse. You'll find everything from exotic florals to the ubiquitous Boston fern (in various stages of growth and prices). Other gardening necessities are also available: pots, potting soil, etc. If you're coming from the east (Dodge Road), don't take the curve on River; continue forward. From Campbell, take a sharp right just before the second "L" curve on River Road.
