St. Philip's Plaza has the happy distinction of having not just one, but two fabulous farmers' markets every weekend. On Saturday, the market features local vendors selling everything from coffee and tea to soap made from goat's milk. On Sunday, the market spills out of the plaza, which teems with local vendors selling reasonably priced fruits and vegetables, as well as other goods—like tortillas made from mesquite flour. Many regulars populate the markets, and in proper farmers'-market fashion, everything is fresh and gets snapped up quickly: If you want fresh eggs on Sunday, you'd best be there bright and early, which means 8 a.m. Saturday's market is better for those who like to sleep in a little: It doesn't get going until 9 a.m.
