STAFF PICK: If you've joined the growing number of DVD owners, the absolute best place to rent one of these discs is Casa Video. They have an enormous selection -- more than 2,000 titles at last count, ranging from silver screen classics to the latest special-effects blockbuster. They've recently reorganized their selection by category for easier browsing. Cost to rent is the same as a video: $2.50 for two days for regular DVDs, and $2.99 a day for new releases. And if they don't have it yet, just check their monthly catalogue for upcoming new releases. Casa is open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week, with two-for-one bargain rentals (videos and DVD) on Tuesday and Wednesday. For 14 years, low-key Casa has been the antidote to the invasion of Lackluster Video chains, and now they've gone the big guys one better by placing themselves on the cutting edge of this new technology...and besides, who can resist the free popcorn?
