"How sweet it is!" The ghostly echo of departed actor/comedian Jackie Gleason can be heard exclaiming over and over. And that would be before even tasting anything. Simply staring in awe at the cases displaying desserts to die for at Beyond Bread could summon the return of the deceased. A feast for both the eye and sweet tooth, BB features everything from cookies, cakes, cannoli and crème brûlée, to tarts, tortes and tiramisu. You better pick out your purchase before you order your sandwich or salad, just to get your priorities straight. Shoot, you may even want to eat it first, although delayed gratification does have its rewards. (It is said.) Whichever way you go, just don't forget the sweet thangs—as if you really could. They are sure to send you beyond bliss.
