The choice of desserts from the case at Beyond Bread is beyond abundant. The selections are so varied that it makes decisions difficult. There are artistic looking 4-inch fruit tarts and huge, scrumptious cookies, including chocolate-chip and ginger-snap varieties. In addition, cakes, lemon bars and two types of crème brulee are available. On a recent visit, it was the magic bar that grabbed our attention. A mixture of coconut, nuts and chocolate bits in a creamy layer swimming atop a graham-cracker crust, the bar reminded us of a cookie variation of a dessert that was popular back in 1984, or maybe even before. Magically wonderful, it certainly was.
Come to a place where the desserts themselves actually look better than the pictures on the menu! At Something Sweet, you will find a simple atmosphere where one can relax and savor desserts seemingly from heaven. Huge cakes, pies, cheesecakes and more—with or without ice cream—await you there. Delightful beverages—including a full menu page of teas, with no fewer than six varieties of green tea—complement the treat. Hang out and savor with free Wi-Fi, computers if you forget yours, and board games. They're open late, too: from 5 p.m. to midnight on weekdays, with extended hours on weekends. We always wanted to skip the appetizer and main course, and go straight to dessert. Here, we can!
