The wonder-roast is a perfect quick dinner cooked to perfection, and the deli-salads are fresh and delicious. The only hard part is narrowing down the choices: dolmades, spanakopita, and moussaka or lasagna with artichoke salad and greek olives. All of life's decisions should be so tough. READERS' POLL RUNNER-UP: Feig's Kosher Foods, 5071 E. Fifth St. About five years ago I came upon my 85-year-old grandfather in a very excited state. It seems that he had heard about a new deli opening up in town called Schlotzky's. "With a name like that, it's got to be good!" he said. Needless to say, he was more than a little upset when he found out that Schlotzky's was an Italian deli, not a Jewish one like he had thought. Moreover, they didn't even serve corned beef! No one should ever encounter this problem when going to Feig's Deli. Owned by Jack Strauss, a member of Congregation Anshei Israel, it's the closest Tucson has ever--and most likely will ever--come to having an authentic Jewish deli. With a full-service kosher market as well as a sit-down restaurant, Feig's is your one-stop shopping place for all things Jewish. Come for the matzo-ball soup or come for the ultra-lean corned beef, but don't come on Saturdays. Feig's is most certainly closed for the Jewish Sabbath.
