Feig's Kosher Market and Deli

Tucson is, when you think about it, a town populated by pirates. Really! UA students sail over in their boat-sized SUVs, raid the town and navigate back home four years later. For the little-known Jewish pirates, kosher food is hard to come by on the high desert seas. They--and numerous others--know that Tucson is a great place to moor, because it's got Feig's. Pangs of hunger or homesickness can be allayed with a bowl of steaming matzo ball soup, a cup of borscht or that yummy kugel (is that Frosted Flakes on top?). Even if you've never tried knishes or matzo, you're sure to leave with a belly full of delicious comfort food.
