STAFF PICK: Now in its second year of operation, Wildflower is a stellar example of the New American Grill: sassy, classy and full of good things to eat. Even before you're through the door, the savory smell of grilled meat greets you. Once inside, a spectacular, sheer glass wall separates the main dining room from the trendy bar scene. The open kitchen in back is abuzz with activity, and everyone moves with alacrity and grace. The grill is certainly the emphasis here, but seafood and a pasta dish or two also grace the menu. The grilled pork chops are a wonder -- thick, but still moist and tender. And the meatloaf ranks among the finest comfort food in town. This summer, Wildflower offered a Tuesday night special that was so well-received, the owners have decided to keep it going. Each bottle of wine is half-price with dinner, which isn't a bad deal considering Wildflower's wine list includes several top vintages.
