Head West Smoke Shop

Weary of a Kansas windbag droning on in the U.S. Senate about "What this country needs _____," Vice President Thomas R. Marshall, a true cigar aficionado, leaned over to a clerk and whispered: "What this country needs is a good 5-cent cigar." Forget that Marshall, a humble Hoosier who served under the stiff intellectual Woodrow Wilson, delivered his most famous line a little before the start of the Roaring '20s. A good cigar, the literature says, was about 10 cents those days, and sales penetration was much greater back then than it was during the late-1990s yuppie cigar boom. Marshall today would yearn for a good cigar less than $5. They are plentiful. And your headquarters for them is Head West Smoke Shop. Here, you'll find Partagas, Padron, Punch, El Rey del Mundo, Ashton and a full line of Fuente, including the great Short Story. Each is a buck or two or three or more less than what you'd find elsewhere. New to cigars or just buying gifts? Ask for Joe, who is gracious, knowledgeable and patient.
