Rose Canyon Lake

Near the summit of Mount Lemmon, Rose Canyon is an ideal spot for overnight camping. You can rest easy underneath a canopy of trees and stars, warm yourself and your mallows by camp fire, and even fish in the six-acre Rose Canyon Lake, located at the lower end of the campground. A popular place for hiking and fishing, the campground is swimming with families and fishing rods and hikers in stunned disbelief that they've stumbled upon a lake in Tucson. Equipped with drinking water, vault toilets, fire rings and grills, this spacious campground sets its visitors up for a rollicking good time and a welcome respite from the flaming hot desert.
