Here's the deal: You must be sure to arrive extremely hungry, and be ready to take advantage of all that is there. People tend to think of this place as a simple soup-and-salad bar, but that does not begin to describe this buffet experience. Aside from all the usual tossed-salad stuff, Sweet Tomatoes offers a variety of prepared salads, several different soups—some vegetarian and vegan—and lots of pasta. The produce is also surprisingly fresh, and we haven't even started talking about the muffins, breads and desserts. Sundays feature a special brunch menu from 9 a.m. to noon that's too sinful for even these pages to describe.
