Not contained to one building–in fact, barely contained to one block–the Tucson Museum of Art has been a fixture in the city, in one form or another, since 1924. Unlike flapper dresses, prohibition and ubiquitous vaudeville (but fortunately, much like jazz and women's suffrage), the museum has stuck around ever since, and is just wrapping up a big makeover. Stop by to see original and traveling exhibitions, take a tour, visit the museum's store or even take a studio art class.
