Believing in Ourselves: A Celebration of Women 

Editor's note: Believing in Ourselves, A Celebration of Women, tells the stories of 35 women from across America, including Tucson. Photographer Jennifer Jones, whose portraits grace this book, lives in Tucson. She and the author, Nancy Carson, are scheduled to be at a book signing and reception from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Hotel Congress. The excerpt in the print edition cannot be reproduced here.
