Beach Party: Fourth Avenue to Main Gate
Fourth Avenue and Main Gate merchants host a beach party from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, to celebrate Tucson's Birthday. Live music takes place at five locations. Also featured are prizes, giveaways, 236 specials (for the 236th birthday), a Wheel of 4ortune, Football Fun toss for the benefit of Ben's Bells, balloons, face-painters, a 30-foot Slip and Slide, a participation mural, an art exhibition and birthday cake.
